Receptionist

Job Introduction

Best Western Ship Hotel, Weybridge require a Hotel Receptionist. The hotel is a 3 star hotel located in the heart of Weybridge with 76 bedrooms, bar, restaurant and function facilities.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

The Front of House team are responsible for the greeting and farewell of all guests and visitors to the hotel. They deal with arrivals, departures and the co-ordination of all customer requests during their stay with us. The delivery of outstanding customer service to all guests is paramount to every task they complete.

Shifts are 7 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm Monday to Sunday, 5 days per week. Part time candidates may be considered depending on flexibility of candidate.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Outstanding customer care at all times

  • Check-in and check out

  • Telephone handling

  • Payment and foreign currency transactions

  • Cash handling

  • Ensure all customer queries and requests are handled in a polite, efficient and courteous manner

  • Reservation handling when required

  • Wake up call requests and newspaper orders

  • Maintaining all equipment and work areas, including key and cash security

  • Processing company loyalty card schemes according to guidelines

  • Maintain a high level of hotel and product knowledge at all times

  • Will also be covering the bar and restaurant as and when required

  • Previous experience would be preferable although training will be given
